System Shock - Enhanced Edition XB360/XBO Controller Companion Profile

描述
Hi!

This particular profile is meant to be a helper file for the default gamepad configuration that comes out-of-the-box with the "Default" Joystick config option in-game.

It's not perfect, but this allows the entire game to be played without the keyboard or mouse from launch to close.

If you have this profile enabled, the controls when using a Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller will be bound as follows:

Guide button: Toggle fullscreen UI mode
Left stick - Move forward/back, turn left/right
Right stick - Move mouse cursor
A button - Examine/use/pick up
X button - Use weapon
B button - Jump (hold while walking towards a ladder to climb)
Y button - Select with mouse cursor
LB - Enter/Return (this is for saving your games when necessary, also fires weapon)
RB - Cycle weapons
LT/RT - Strafe left/right
Menu/Start - Pause/options menu
D-pad Up/Down - Look down/up
D-pad Left/Right - Lean left/right
L3 - Toggle virtual keyboard - be careful when using this, as this will minimize your game when dismissed.

This configuration isn't perfect:

-When examining or firing a weapon, the cursor will jump to two arbitrary points on the center of the screen, but they are not quite lined up (probably some bug in the enhanced edition code or something to do with higher res).
-D-pad functionality can be irritating, but remember you can cancel your lean by simply moving normally.
-Main menu has to be controlled via the right stick and Y button, which can be a little awkward
-Selecting anything on-screen (MFDs) has to be done with the Y button. The A and X buttons are tied to the center of the screen.

Otherwise, with a small amount of practice one can play SS:EE completely mouse and keyboard free! Enjoy!

@FaceMelter Crouching seems to be automatic, but crouching or prone should probably be bound to R3. Good catch!
@phil11689 probably not.
