They must not go outside of this area otherwise the game will pull random textures from other models not even related to your asset. I've had this happen to me before and I think I actually remember now having this exact same problem with one of my beginning asset when I first started learning how to make stuff for the game. I had a boat that would become 100% reflective on the lod and I think this was the problem.
If I could make another suggestion, your garages and walls look odd when placed on a slope as they appear to be hovering. Extending the model below ground level could solve this issue.
