Just a prop I made over a year and a half ago, shortly after Transistor came out on Steam.
It's been sleeping in my HDD until now.

The Transistor's light pulses, and its eye's cubemap is actually a reflection of Cloudbank.

Transistor is a video game by the creators of Bastion. You should check it out. I only made the model/textures.

That's a good question, I couldn't give a straight answer either. It wasn't designed as a weapon, and the characters who use it to fight in transistor don't even use it as a sword. Instead they use it kinda like a summoning device to use various sorta spells.
