TRAIN: Hopper Car

This is a hopper car. This is not a vehicle, rather it is a prop.

The Hopper Car model has dirt and rust on it,.
This is a track ready prop, so you can put it on standard gmod tracks, and it will slide easily, using thrusters or pulled by ropes or any other constraints.
This model is top heavy, to going around tight curves will cause flips(This is also in real life, which is why these were replaces with longer and more narrow cars.). For very small curves, I recomend a max of 35-40 ingame KPH, mdium to large curves can be 80-120 KPH

I had a bit of a hard time finding information on this model, due to the fact that it wasnt as common. The Livery is not like my other models, I decided to leave it open, and most models were like this in real life, even on GWR trains.

Grain hoppers were made in two models(in real life) Open top, and closed top, Closed type were more popular for space reasons, but they were often top heavy.These transported many types of grains, mostly through farmland areas.


This is 3.25k verts, so if you have an old card, it will lag. I have a GTX 620(Terrible card), however spawning 50 of these did little performance lag,mainly when using physics. So if you have a 410 or lower, I suggest not spamming these too much,

Other than this, these are efficient models.
