Max - The Shapeshifter

Can't decide which character to play? Why not a bit of each! This is a mod that adds a playable Maxwell Shadow, Max, that can transform into and gain abilities of the various Don't Starve characters in exchange for health. You transform by using the keypad (this is the default control setup, you can change it).

===CHARACTER SUMMARY===

All stat modifications mentioned percentage wise are based off of Wilson in comparison, so if you see +5% damage that means compared to Wilson's damage.

==Base Stats==

This is the default spawn.

Default Damage: -50%
Health: 75
Hunger: 150
Sanity: 200

==Transformations==

EACH TRANSFORMATION WILL COST AT LEAST 5 HEALTH AND COMES WITH A SANITY DRAIN OF -1.25/MIN.

Keys may be changed to different buttons in the mod options. Default key setup is in () after each transformation name.

Default Spawn (Keypad 0/Insert): Reset to the default spawn (no sanity drain and half damage).

Wilson (Keypad Period/Delete): You freeze slower (equal to half of earmuffs warmth).

Willow (Keypad 1/End): You take halved damage from fire, take a half second longer to burn, and lose sanity 20% easier. You may also craft and cook with Willow's Lighter.

Wolfgang (Keypad 2/Down): You take 16.5% less damage, starve 25% faster, and lose sanity 5% easier.

Wendy (Keypad 3/Page Down): You deal 25% less damage and are 25% more resistant to sanity loss.

WX-78 (Keypad 4/Left): You take 16.5% more damage, lose sanity 25% easier. and are less picky about food spoilage.

Wickerbottom (Keypad 5): You may read books (work in progress, you can read them right now with no effect or use), can't sleep, are 12.5% more resistant to sanity loss, and are picky about what you eat.

Woodie (Keypad 6/Right): You chop trees faster (same rate as Woodie) but lose sanity on every tree hit (-0.7 per hit) and fall (1 sanity lost on a fallen tree).

Wes (Keypad 7/Home): You starve 12.5% faster, take 12.5% more damage, go insane 12.5% easier, and deal 12.5% less damage. You can't talk.

Wigfrid (Keypad 8/Up): Lose 4 health. You deal 12.5% more damage, take 16.5% less damage, and starve 50% faster. You may also craft her helmet and weapon.

Webber (Keypad 9/Page Up): You take 8.35% less damage and may befriend spiders, but you are treated as a monster and are 12.5% more vulnerable to sanity loss. You may also craft spider eggs.

Shadow (Keypad Backslash): Lose 10 additional health as compared to other transformations. All mobs attacking you stop and won't target you in this state. You starve 4 times faster than normal, lose sanity (-20 per minute), and cannot deal ANY damage.

Stealth (Keypad Asterisk): Free toggled ability! Players cannot click on you. Good for tricking other players into thinking your someone else (as they can't read your name). To tell if it is active just hover an item over your player (ex: try to eat by dropping an item on them, it shouldn't work it active). Button must be hit again to disable/enable.

Upon death or reconnecting you will reset to how you spawned in (you'll become the default spawn).
