2018 UPDATE: Better materials and fixed wrist twisters, hand and wrist bones have been changed, read change notes for more details. If you need the old hand bones for a project you can get it here:

This is a cleaned up and enhanced version of Link from Super Smash Bros for Wii U.
A ton of work has been done to make his transition to Source Filmmaker as clean as possible.

Main features:

-Retopologized facial mesh, tongue and teeth completely replaced with higher quality meshes
-Restructured hair mesh and textures to get around Source's dumb translucency issues
-Completely remade hand meshes with improved detail and polycount/rigging
-Extensive range of HWM-ish (limited dominators) facial flexes, and optional mouth/tongue bones
-Higher polycounts in multiple areas, rigging has also been generally improved
-Jiggleboned sleeves, hair, and hat that will react naturally to gravity and respect collision
-Jiggle manipulator bones for the hat to manually assist the pose without baking procedural bones
-Procedural bones set for the wrist and shoulder sleeve helpers to assist in animation
-All of Link's items he uses in the game are included as prop models
-All alternate skins from the game are available for use as skingroups
-Custom Twilight Princess skingroup that mimics his original look from that game
-Paintable tunic on the final skingroup
-Premade hand poses for all items and phoneme presets
-Link's actual idle animation from Brawl is included as a loadable sequence

Item features:
-Alternate Twilight Princess skins for all items
-Hylian Shield contains all the alternate skingroups to match Link's model
-All items can bonemerge straight to the hand Link uses for it without additional positioning
-Bow and Clawshot are fully rigged, Clawshot has premade animations for it's mechanisms
-The fairy has an idle animation with both a bobbing and stationary variant
-The bow's arrows can be bodygrouped off the model, and also loaded as it's own model
-All equipment on the scabbard can be bodygrouped off, including the scabbard itself

An IK rig can be found here, along with a control groups file to allow SFM to identify all of the unique bone names and group them accordingly:

As an added bonus, in these extra files you will also find bomb explosion particles to use with the bomb prop. You can choose either the Brawl bomb explosion particles, or the original Twilight Princess explosion particles. Made possible by the very talented Chaofanatic.

Also included are Link's voiceover sounds and various item sounds to use in animations if you so choose.

Its mostly the same as the original it just uses higher resolution alpha masks, adjusted uv maps, and the front that connects to his forehead is solid at the base and doesnt blend with alpha layering (everything looks mostly the same though)

Any chance a download of the original hair mesh will be downloadable? I'm using him in a project outside SFM and *really* don't wanna have to remake his hair from scratch

understandable, the biggest complaint i have with smash brosa link brawl and onward is that the master sword is not a long sword, like its suppose to be, i guess for game balancing purposes
