Train Caboose: Brake Van( Caboose )

This is my second train mod. This mod adds a Brake Van(Or in the US, a "Caboose").


This is not a vehicle, and the wheels dont sping. This model is track ready, with invisible sliders( no need to put your own on.

You can enter the brake "van" via 2 doors on the sides, and the door in the middle.

I will make windows transparent, and hopefully add a wheel spinning animation(if possible).

Due to source engines limitations, many maps have rough curves, this will make cars very bumy at high speeds around curves.

to use:

First find the addon by going into spawn menu -> scroll down to "addons" and find "TRAIN: brake van".
Place the model on the tracks so all wheels are on the track
use ropes to connect other cars.

A bit of info on the brake van:

Brake vans, or cabooses are simply put at the end of trains to ad tactive braking effort. Brake vans were in mass production in the 1900's due to manual per train car braking causing many deaths. Regulations cause the building of brake vans, a safer way to stop a train, without the possibility of loosing gripping on a ladder and dieing. Brake vans were replaced by autobraking (If no air pressure, brakes are automatically put on).
