This was a walk-away-for a couple days kind of puzzle...had tried all kinds of stuff. Then it hit me one day that I had not tried the laser cube powered bridge coming up through a floor portal ...suddenly all my issues were solved

and i didn't ever need the fizzler (that turns off from the laser) turned off

Weird. I didn't see the angel panel or the flip panel at the beggining, so I used the light bridge to launch the cube across the chasm from the surface near the button. The rest I solved intended.
