Train Tanker: United Dairies

ATTENTION: This is not a vehicle! This is a standard prop which can be used as a detail, or an actual train car. More info below!


This mod adds a tanker to your GMOD. The "United Dairies" tanker can be found under the "Addons" tab at the bottom of the spawn an item page(Press Q to open), and Is called "United Dairies". This tanker can fit on any 80 inch in between track( around 95% of all track maps), and goes around curves smoothly. This mod might glitch on junctions, I have only seen this happen once with "Magnums TrakPak", however it works with 99% of all junctions. Like in the video, to use, you place it on the track, where all wheel appear to be on the track. The model is easy to move, and you can easily pull/push it with a thruster(around 400 is good for one tank). If you are using rope for connections, put the rope on the hooks at the ends for best results.


The wheels do not spin, I would like to see if there is a way to make them "psuedo-spin" by animation without physics involved(Physics is inconsistant and laggy in this manner).

I have other track ready models being made. Such as a caboose.


A little info on the model at hand for you trainbuild RPers:

United dairies as well as other companies transporting milk used these tanks to easily haul milk(duh). These tanks were in use until the mid 70's when all were discontinued, many are on display. The tankers used to have 2 axles instead of three, but due to weight distrabution on the older tracks, many derailings would occur, thuse they began using the safer 3 axle version. Most of these tanks are from the 30's to the 50's, many helped in war efforts to bring supplies to troops.
