is the event triggered by something or is it just set to a date

update it so that the whole frey family gets killed off to go with season 7 :)

Well I built this because Lady Stoneheart would kill any Frey men she could get her hands on, I'm not aware of a Bolton version of that.

I'm glad you like it. :)

I play earlier scenarios, in the Riverlands. Frey is one of my best( and strongest ) vassals and 3 generations have been my Hand in my most recent playthrough.
