- Interior Lights + Weapons are turned off to reduce lag on lower end machines

- Careful when using gravity engines, they are easy to use but accelerate the ship -VERY- fast

- Everything is connected through conveyors

- LCD screens display location of every compartment of the ship along with additional useful information

Acceleration: From 0 to top speed in less than 4,6 seconds!!

The Orpington 05 is the prodigy child in the Orpington series. With its massive total of more than forty metric kilo tonnes and its armament of sixteen gatling turrets and seven heavy missiles turrets as well as a double set of frontal rocket pods, its firepower is matched only by the heaviest of battle ships. Combined with its incredible acceleration, going from zero to over one hundred meters per second in just under 4,6 seconds, the Orpington 05 is a devastating force to be reckonned with. Along with its heavy weaponry is a massive production section, capable of sustaining it for weeks on its own. A massive monolith in the absolute top-tier of heavy combat production line.

Note from the authors:

The Orpington is a heavy station cruiser with composite armor (Light Armor ontop of Heavy Armor). It is meant to function as a moveable large station, personnel transport, cargo hauler, portable refinery and drone ship.

The hangar bay is small since it is only meant to carry its own support drones for mining and scouting.

It has everything the game currently has to offer and in a large quantity. Because of that, this ship is NOT meant for combat. That doesn't mean it cannot defend itself, it really packs a huge punch in a fight and will completely wreck any NPC ship currently in the game with ease.

It can function as a perfect base of operation since there really is no need to move it and the exterior design holds a certain intimidation factor to it. Should it come under attack, activate the gravity engines and the ship will hit 104m/s in less than 3 seconds. Or simply use the jump drives.

// There is no denying it, I took some inspiration from the Caldari on EVE online, but having never really played the game it is not meant to look as any particular ship from the actual game. The main reason I created this was because I got fed up with my previous aborted attempts of creating a large ship. This one turned out far far bigger than I originally wanted it to be, hence I will be making a smaller version of it in the future which only features one of each components. \\
