Outside Govermented territory Pirates roam free. Security is low and Hardware is scarse.
There was need for a solution. The people of the fringe worlds were unable to buy armed hardware
from the govermented sector. However, There was no shortage of wreckages and direlict ships.

R.U.S.T. introduces, V-2 Gunboat.
A reversed engineered large grid Gunship Designed to be Cheap, Fast, to take a beating and hurt even more.

This ship can be found on many stations in the fringeworlds. Highly popular with local marchals and mercenarys.
The ship is easy and cheap to produce. The front is Heavely armored And its four large grid thrusters gives it enough acceleration to outpace most refined fighter designs.
Two intiriour turrets and one gatlin turret makes the V-2 Gunboat a treat to be reconed with.
This ship is able to circle the hulking pirate cariers and disable their guns one by one wihout being hit once.
The auto rageting turrets gives the pilot all the time he needs to foccus on maneuvering.
And when The enemy turns his back, The missle pod wil finnish about everything they just started.

Unsurprisingly, this ship is not as popular with pirates as its looks make you think.
With no oxygen support, No Jump capability battery powered and limited ways to dock, this ship is pretty much stuck in place.The ship requires manual reloading of its guns. it only functions in short range missions.
nevertheless, The V-2 gunboat does what he does best.
