描述

This mod buffs the towers defending castles. Normally, towers are laughably weak and really have no influence on the battle, especially against units with any armor whatsoever. With this mod, towers become strong enough to modestly influence combat without being so strong that they route whole units by themselves. Where previously you may get 20 kills out of a single tower, now you may see 100-120.

The towers have slightly increased damage (due to using fire arrows) allowing for damaging armored units reliably. They also fire faster and recieve a modest boost in range from 150 to 175 to be able to counter monk bow warriors.

I'm thinking of creating a tripple garrison mod to work alongside this. The idea of a castle is you can hold a province with a small number of men, CA completely missing the point as always.

Make castles great again!

Nice mod, works well with others. This mod makes castles believably difficult to assault. Add a double-garrison mod and sieges become a very different thing entirely. I took a look "under the hood." It might take some fiddling to disallow fire arrows until they are researched, but I'll see what I can do in my copious spare time. Thanks for the mod!
