Come to think of it, I might be able to make this into an ammo selector by making a quiver an actual weapon, and that you put the bow in your offhand to use the selected quiver. Make a quiver for spears and harpoons, one for arrows, an ammo pouch and box. For melee users add a sheath. Make anything in that slot weigh half, and if possible, decrease time to draw melee weapons from the sheath, allow a double tap to perform iado. This allows players to specialize in the weapon that they have in their off hand and use a variety of ammunition for that weapon.
Sucks if you want to use a shield, but ♥♥♥♥ I'm told that shields are op anyways. You shouldn't be able to take hits and then decide exactly which targets to pierce and which to immolate depending on the situation
Brb, looking up how to write mods for ark
reason is: there is a lot of moded ammos and weapons used on servers and those ammos can not be stored in your ammo box
