Solid level design! I almost gave up. as I have with so many other community levels. I didn't mind the back-tracking, it just made it a more complex puzzle. It was very rewarding in the end.

I was cool!

I felt like the last building on the right went like hardcore mode in difficulty, but I'm perhaps not seeing an easier way to float under that wall. A lot of backtracking indeed was kind of not fun, dont get me wrong, the satisfaction of solving the puzzle is there, if only the game had a "sprint" feature to get to places faster. Savestone placement is good, unlike in my level lol. Great job!

Ok I just replayed the level with your comments in mind and I think i found the issue. My intention was that you couldn't access the upper floor of Right 2 until after getting the red cubes from Left 2. However, this is possible with just three blocks (because I'm stupid and only ever tried it with 2). I'm gonna edit that room so it's not possible to do that anymore (which hopefully makes the full puzzle more clear)

That's probably why it was so confusing for me, I ran between the first 4 buildings a lot.

The problem being that you actually don't need to activate the large cubes to get the green cube. And as far as I know there is no need to use the green cube anywhere with good block placement technique. I still had the green cube when I arrived at the purple cube.

A stack of blue and red cubes goes a long way.

The idea with the items being necessary to advance is cool, but the execution was not very airtight.

The level as a whole is not linear - it's essentially one giant puzzle you tackle in three stages. Your endgoal is to get into the far building (the one with the target) and you do this by building the bridge across the "Divide".

Stage 1: Your first objective is to get the green cube. To do this, you need to activate the platforms in the first buildings on each side.

Stage 2: Your next goal is the gravity cube. Now that you have the green cube, where can you go that you couldn't before? You need to activate the platforms in both the first and second buildings on each side.

Stage 3: Finally, with the gravity cube, you can get to building 3 on each side.

It's hard to convey this in-level (I tried to with the glass and visible walkways between buildings) but if you're unfamiliar with Metroidvania-style level design (or too used to the main game's more linear levels), then I can see why it's confusing.

I agree with Ellie, this level is confusing as hell, you get no sense of where to go and there's a lot of backtracking.

I am having a hard time getting anywhere is this level.

@Limboh that update was actually for the interior of the building since it used to be really easy (at least, easier). That solution to the overall puzzle is impressive though. I could fix it by forcing a build puzzle in the last building but I think I'll just leave it as-is
