Stairway in the sky (1/5) {The Adventure}

描述
Hello there, and welcome to my First Level! This is the first level from a 5 level series called: The Adventure (as told in the title).

Now have some description about the level.

You find yourself again at the bottom of a Gigantic Stair... It maybe leads to another sky... Quiz yourself, how to get to the end and you maybe find something interesting... This is the First Level of an 5 Level Series called: The Way to the Temple
{Difficulty: Easy} {est. Time (if run perfectly): about 3 minutes}
Good Luck!

Some extra Info
This Level was made in approx. 3 Hours and is my First ever, normal made level.
Because of some bugs in the level editor, i needed to change the level a bit, but the changes
were not too serious.

@Mrs Ellie Thanks for the Tips :D And yeah, I could've done an Passage-like thing, but it was my first level so I didn't think of that. But I will keep it in my Mind for the Upcoming forth level.

What a delightful level! Just the right amount of challenge in the beginning, with the hidden activation cube! Great job. And I loved the hidden placement cube on the pathway to the left - that was really clever.

Just a couple of things would make this level even better:
1. Add a save stone so you activate it right after jumping up from the platform; then I would have one sometime after getting the blue cube - perhaps making the door an activation door, since you lost the first blue cube. It would make the path more linear since you would be forced to go get the blue cube before opening it.

2. When I got to the jumping area with all the placement cubes, I gave up. The path isn't obvious, and I just did all that jumping to get there and get the blue cube ... consider making some path in there with gaps (even large gaps) so it is clear which way to go.

Remember, if the player doesn't have clear direction and lots of rewards for a job well done, they can get frustrated and give up. You need more of a transition from the just-right beginning to the too-hard open placement room. Or a floor in there. A lot of level designers overrate the charm of jumping over thin air. It adds stress, which takes away from the creativity needed to solve the puzzle. A floor would add security and not take away from the puzzle at all.

That's my two cents - and keep building! You definitely have what it takes. Great job! Loved the first red cube too. You have that touch for creating gameplay that is just right. :)

Nice simple puzzle that teaches the player that exploration is important to finding the solution. I enjoyed this as a beginning point to the other maps you've made. Keep up the good work. :blissful_creep:
