Ok, I did some more digging into the game files and discovered that the reason why this mod isn't working for me is because the settings which influence the quest frequency are inside the "Title.rpk" file, and I happen to have another mod that overwrites the variables.

To change quest settings, and many other options, one needs to overwrite the "AOW Global Settings" listing.

In case mod isn't working for others, it's probably best to create a custom mod that changes these settings and anything else according to preference.

For instance, I had a mod that changed so that instances would have different rewards on reload(useful for testing & debugging some other mods I'm working on), and that mod essentially made this one not work (because they'd overwrite the same config options)

any way to do the opposite? i dont mind the whole quest system, but i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate the way it spams the ♥♥♥♥ out of you. I rarely accept them, only when i have the time to finish it, so i'd greatly appreciate a mod that triples or even quadruples the length of time until a quest is given, and maybe up the rewards a bit to make it worth my time
