40K Map - Hive Siege

The Curtain Wall has been breached, and the foul army of Chaos is advancing. Hold the line--or else the entire Hive will be lost.

An attack/defense map for W40K, loosely inspired by Dan Abnett's novel "Necropolis." The fortress wall is entirely modular, and can be disassembled and rearranged at will.

Special Rule: "Upward Mobility"
When a unit is touching the base of one of the small staircases leading to the top of the fortress wall, consider the vertical distance to the top of the wall as 3" instead of 6" for the purposes of movement. The idea is that the staircases give an advantage to the defender by allowing his units to ascend the wall rapidly.

UPDATES (9/25):
I made a small topography change in the attacker's favor. It's still a meat grinder but the contest should be more interesting. Also there should now be room to do a Dawn of War deployment pattern as well as a Vanguard Strike.

(9/27):
I made the buildings slightly smaller, and also lengthened the siege ramps to make it easier to place units on them. Tip: hold down "T" when placing units on the ramp.
