Lived here my whole life, pleasently surprised to find this map

@plaugeman haha yeah looks a bit odd. I put the highways into these maps in the way that was (generally) most convenient. For Auckland and Wellington they're a little bit more true to real life, but I've no idea how accurate the others are (I know, I'm terrible)

tried to re-create invercargill - i was going fine till i realised that i was off by 90 degrees! - i thought the highway was the road to Queenstown not some random peice of highway that feeds in to a starting square at Awarua. uploaded a screen shot if you want to check it out

Awesome! Probably strange to have someone excited to find an Invercargill map, but I lived there a few years, and other than the weather its a lovely place to build a city, lots of flat land, a big river, nice beaches, good resources, good connections.
