Grenades have that second pin for a reason, and in cartoons too it is a big lie that taking the pin off will kill you. the second pin is the reason that grenades explode, since it sets off a timer, but in both half life 1 and all the games there has never been a grenade with a pin that falls off on the ground. In fact, the grenade can explode in your hands in half life 1, and the grenade can explode in mid air dispite having 2 pins in half life 2 and episodes!
The best part is it doesn't have an ejection port on both sides of the fucking gun for one.
