Gothic Cross Interchange

This is an intersection that violates one of the first basic rules in interchange design and that is:

"All exits and entrances on the right side."

Gothic Cross Interchanges use the left lane for a left turn to make quite a pretty but un-realistic turning movement.

Imagine actually turning into a road leading up to an interchange like this, did you visualize it in your head yet? Turning into a road? Well did you turn into the rightmost lane like you do in real life? That is the problem because now to actually turn left you would have to weave through other traffic to get the right lane before the interchange!

Other than that, and cimmies all driving apparently automatic cars that make suicidal lane merges there is no real problem with this interchange other than that it is quite unrealistic.
