Hello Engineers !

This time I bring you solar power generating windows for your ships and stations
Thanks goes to the engineer BlackDoge930 for the idea.

All 17 window types included.

Technical Info:

Windows function as solar panels requiring "SolarGlass" made at the assembler.
SolarGlass blueprint based upon a combination of SolarCells and Bullet-not-so-Proof Glass

Solar per 1x1 block size is worth 0.015

Todo:

DONE - Scale solar output by panel size (thanks hex)

Update 6/08/2015 - Fix SolarGlass Production Time was 18 Seconds (woops) now is 7 Seconds
Update 05/09/2015 - Increased output to keep up with the thirstier thrusters in the game and a new solarglass icon.

Umm.. One of the triangle pieces is causing SE to crash when I try to place it in my build bar.

Request: Add scroll options like vanilla windows.
Request: Add missing window sizes, 2x2 for example...

Any chance on an update with more window sizes?

Also.... Other items that use bulletproof glass, such as, Cockpits? Oxygen Farms? Or is that even possible, because of the block type?

Awesome! This is actually an Idea I was having for IRL! Basically a type of gurilla glass if anyone keeps up with such formulas, which also kind of reminds me of the "Transparent Aluminum" concept that was in Star Treck.

oohh 3000 !!!! yeah these are windows but they are also solar panels, so use with some care.

best advice is where you can use the larger sizes such as 2x3 and 3x3 instead of large placements of 1x1 or 1x2.

I créat a new world and with 3000 solar power windows there is a lag when i come back to this world but no crash. sorry it's probably my old CPU. When i try with solar panel it's the same. and for the crash it's probably a game instability because of my small CPU. Sorry

Hello !
I put a lot of Solar Power Windows at one ship and every 7 seconds i have a big lag. and some time a crach :
