I consider this to be a more 'newbie' map than other ones I've put on the workshop. But it's been played and enjoyed a lot over the years, so I thought it worthwhile putting up on the workshop, so that people can continue to enjoy it.
I don't expect to win any awards or prizes with this map, but if it brings people some joy then i consider it a success.

Also i think the finale explosion is still kind of neat considering it was done using the tools available at the time to simulate destruction occuring (since making a fully animated model sequence is not something i would have even considered being able to do back then)

Pretty nice, red's forward spawn feels pretty far away though.

@Klip it would be a bit tricky to do so. i mean, sure i could probably make it look better, but it'd be difficult to make changes to the layout without changing what the map is and how it plays. Also, I've not used hammer in quite a few years, so i'm probably all kinds of rusty with it

I know it's a bit of a long shot, but have you ever considered updating this map at all? The server I play on still runs this map at least once a week, and I'd love to see it polished just a bit more with all the changes that have come out since it was released.

i cant remember when we put rivercrossing the first time on our server. Its a great Map. Startpoint is a little Sniper heaven. Pure PL fun like swiftwater. Good job
