Note: ok, I am publishing this upgraded version because I accidently lost original "source" blueprint and I can't update previous drone =/
Update 18/08/15: fixed issue when drone remain in standby mode, even if you're inside sensor's range - it was autopilot's fault, foe-friend system also switch autopilot on-off, but without task it remain standby.
So, now if you want to set it for patrolling, attack invaders and return to patrolling you need to MANUALLY add "autopilot on/off" to the foe-friend timer!
Update 20/08/15: i'm really stupid, dammit. And still - why there's no issue reports at all? I forgot to enable aiming sensors to detect smallships and drone was panically flee, when enemy drone arrived. Now it's over - he will fight for you and bravely sacrifice it's life if needed :D
I tryed to make him more "user-friendly" after pasting it in creative - it must immidiately react to player and probably attack, if you're not owner.

This is enhanced version of my previous pseudo-AI drone (doing ingame AI for keens, hehe).

So! As a title says, this is drone with simpliest pseudo-AI. He will attack enemies and follow and protect you or allies.

- Attack enemy and neutral players and smallships;
- Follow owner or friendly player and smallship OR it can patrol by GPS poins and attack enemies if detect, when enemy is gone it returns to patroling;
- avoid obstacles - strafe or turn off;
- works only in 50 m radius, If enemy dissapears it will remain standby OR continue patroling if you set it;
- very annoying and deadly in numbers more than 3;
- simplies design, mod-free;

How it works: paste it. Leave 50 m sensor radius and enter again - it will detect you and (depends on) attack you or follow you, if you're an owner.

You can use it as you want where you want without permission - I'm not asking for credit, but just don't tell that this is your work. Or I will find and I will kill you, lol

Btw, there's a VERY useful mod for drones like this: super-powerful sensor (up to 100 km!)

First time hearing about in-game AI? Of course it's not real AI (it doesn't exist yet), this is a set of conditions and functions in all games to imitate human (or not) behaviour. All NPC's, enemies in games called AI, but this don't mean real-life AI. This is a sort of misconception, if you want.
And moreover - I just fogot to add "pseudo-" to "AI", cuz I'm lazy. This is only poor imitation of in-game AI to give you an enemy for single-player missions or anything.

this is not AI just so you know...... AI means artificial inteligence and not thing loaded with sensors linked up to gyroscopes this thing cant think by itself so its not an AI.
