Oh I see what it is now. I did have to jump to a new game mid-way into a design because one of my saves glitched and didn't show my new design.

It sounds like the export bug. Make sure you don't attach anything to an exported part. It seems the part connecting to an export (saved game part) will try and revert the export back to its original size and place. I took down and fixed my Tie Interceptor as it was causing a crash and I found I had placed the extending wing onto the exported wing of the Tie fighter. Some reason it doesn't like it

No, it's not just that. When a part doesn't show up in the thumbnail, that part is going to appear at its default size when you try to build the ship. (That's in my case, anyway. I heard it's been crashing some people.)

Its the thumbnail not showing exported parts when uploading. Best thing is to take screen shots and attach with it.

@Airmaster I have that problem with my ships too. I opened a thread in the forums about it though, and support is looking into it.
