描述
This is a very simple, light weight mod that allows the user to continue playing
despite not having a dynasty member as heir.

This release should work with vanilla and any mods updated to the newest live steam version. Because virtually no large mods are compatible right now I haven't been able to test thoroughly, so I would welcome any feedback and suggestions for improvements.

I am currently working on making it possible to designate your heir via a targetted decision. It is quite a complex process as you have to get around several vanilla mechanics to get it to work. Getting close, but not quite there yet.


Credit to Cironian whose code inspired this mod.

I wonder, could we play theocracies with this, if we removed game over screen for them somehow?

The mod's abandoned, but should work still with the latest version. However, you do inherit your previous ruler's titles if they had any.

The last time I tested, the heir who is not of the dynasty, after I died he appeared as a adopted son now in my tree, has that changed? now I'm just being teleported to his dynasty or is he still coming to mine as adopted?

It works perfectly with the current version of the game, tested using just this mod.
