Oh yeah, this issue. For example, if you slap down in this order, 9 3x3's, on top of that 8 3x3 with 8 1x1's in the middle with an electric engine in the very center, then another layer of 3x3's on top, then on the rim of that, RTG's, you'll see that for some reason or another, it just won't reach full charge. It'll stop at about say 7600-8900, and when it does stop, it just up and stops, the value doesn't change anymore after that.

However, this might be a display bug, as often times, it can actually end up saying that the batteries are fully charged on your hud, but if you look at the batteries themselves, they are not displaying as fully charged.

My understanding of the electric engine is it relys on a normal engine to run the generators not the electric engine itself. All it does is store energy in a situation of losing engine power it can still run, but I'm not too sure about it bc I dont run anything on battery power bc it takes too much to get something. You'll just have to play with it or look into the guide setup.

Here is a link to the thread: http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/268650/discussions/0/530645446312718463/

Basicly if the battery charge is not at maximum and above a certain amount, the charge is getting drained from the battery even though nothing is using power except for the generators charging up the batteries. I am assuming that the electric engine is powering the generatos that are charging it up, but not sure if intended, a bug or I made some mistake in the construction.

The only way to avoid this is to set the electric engine output to 0 % untill it reaches max charge.
