One alternative is to prevent comms tab from being used entirely by closing the window (I'm not entirely sure we can close it tho, I know we can open, maybe it can swap tabs), which kinda defeats the purpose of the mod anyway xD
But also there's that /f and whatever else chat modes that are being blocked along with everything, because we also don't have any sort of way to tell which channel one is... especially as the event does NOT trigger when someone types /f and such X_X
VOTED!
The game now (v189) has chat commands to switch the chat to faction or wisper (see F1 -> Chat) so you don't have to use the terminal... but I dunno if it still requires antennas.
Would it be possible to send any message typed in to the global chatbox through the comms system, to make things more natural to use?
Oh, and do the messages sent through comms show up in the global chatbox? That would be pretty neat if it doesn't already.
