If you like this game, please be sure to check out the deck building game I am currently working on. It is an orginal, with a whole new way to play, so if your interested, check it out and please leave a comment!: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/309187201/1148032295?token=0b130b81

Using the cerberus engine (DC Deck Builder) and a template I found I made a deck builder based around Legend of Zelda. Hope you enjoy!

You can find the rules to the DC Deck Builder here: www.cryptozoic.com/downloads/files/dc_db__rulebook_lo_res.pdf

It functions the same, aside from the Rupee system. Rupees are kept until you use them, and you gain Rupees from the cards you buy and your Heroes. Rupee models were made by Quick Silver, which I will link here! http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=574537211&searchtext=rupees
Very well done!

Suggested: It is suggested that you fight the bosses in a phase-like manor. First, choose a "Final Boss". Pick one of the three 12 cost Boss Enemies and put that at the bottom of the Boss Enemy stack. Next, choose two of each of the 10 and 11 cost Bosses at random and put them in order of cost on top of your Final Boss (ie 10 leads into 11, 11 into 12). Lastly, put the two 9 cost cards randomly on top of those, then Ganondorf face up. If you want a more challenging game, you can play with all the bosses and a teired system like this, or for the ultimate challenge, the "Master Quest" Shuffle all the Bosses without a teir system. Good luck!

I would also like to mention that if you enjoy it, please let me know, as well as any cards you think are broken, have typos, or any other comments. Making card games is my passion, and I will update this game as needed.

6/27/15: UPDATED. Some cards have changed and new symbols, too!
7/23/15: UPDATED. The resolution problem has been resolved!! Working on some minor text changes, AND another Zelda Deckbuilder! Stay Tuned!
8/19/15: It has been so long since I've "Updated" this, but I've constantly been revising it and uploading the revisions. This is just a formal "I've updated the game!" announcement, as the entire game has been revised! New cards, new numbers, and new combos! Have Fun!
1/20/17: Its been almost 1 and a half years since the last update, and boy did I come back with one of my favorite ones! I updated the way the cards look! Some of the cards have different art, and I found a way to increase the quality of the cards (well, on my end. hopefully it looks good for you too) I hope you enjoy them!!

For its first ablility, "you control" means the cards you play or have played that turn. Only the second effect cares about how many you own, and thats at the end of the game

Hey, quick question. Was trying to figure out how the shadow link cards work. Are they powered up by the number of shadow links that are in play, or like, how many you own, meaning in deck, discard, and hand?

you are beautiful!

Correct! Can be used with any Zelda expansion. :D

oh man, that's nice! and Hyrule Warriors can be used with all other expansions?

There is an expansion available for solo/coop play! Its the Hyrule Warriors expansion, which is similar to the Crisis expansions that allowed players to play coop in the DC Deck Building Games.

so if this is like the DC deckbuilding game, you can't play solo or cooperatively?

The game is great and I hope to see either more expansions for it or more games like it being developed. You are awesome and keep up the good work!

Sorry about that! Its been a while and I totally forgot I added those cards to the game. They are teasers for a small expansion I made for Minish Cap, which I never got around to putting up. I can put up the expansion sometime today (and probably a compilation of all the Zelda Deckbuilders to make it easier). As far as the Rupee system works, Each Hero has a way of collecting Rupees. For example, Link gets a Rupee whenever you defeat(buy) or gain an Enemy. Rupees can also be gained by adding cards that say "Gain a Rupee" to your deck and playing them. Rupees stay in your wallet (you keep them) until you wish to use them. You use them by paying the cost of an effect on a card. For example, to use Link's "Boss Enemies cost 2 less for you to defeat this turn", you have to pay 7 Rupees. The same goes for effects on cards. If the effect starts with "X Rupees - " You pay X, then you can use that effect. Hopefully that helps! And Im glad to see people are still playing and enjoying the game!

Ok, so I'm familiar with the DC Deck Builder system. However, I'm having a little difficulty finding any rules for the Rupee system (how exactly to collect/use them). Also, I'm not exactly sure of how to implement the special cards on the table (Blue Kinstone, Cane of Pacci, Minish Woods, etc.). I understand these to be an expansion, but how many of each of these cards are there supposed to be?
