On time trial, you must set new time records. Let's say...a player reached the line in 01:02.25, and you reached the line in 00:58.62, that' s how you beat the time.

On lap elemination, 4 or more players must race against each other. Example: There are 6 players, 5 laps. If a player reaches the next lap on 1st place, then... a player is eleminated in last place. If who ever crosses the finish line first, wins the lap elemination race

On survival mode, you must complete 4 laps without getting dead. If a racer gets 0 health, is eleminated! Losing health affects on bullet hit, falling damage, etc.
