THIS MAP IS STILL BEING DEVELOPED. IT MAY BE REMOVED AND REUPLOADED ONCE IT IS FINISHED

This is my second attempt at making a surf map (see surf_hopi_gradient). I've learned from my mistakes of making the ramps a little too smooth which forced me to make surf_hopi_gradient a lot smaller than I wanted. I have also improved on the lighting in this map to make it look like most of the lights are coming from a light source. Also, play this map with your shaders set to high! It's worth it.

However, this map still has decently smoothed out ramps and the obstacles are very challenging. I don't know what tier it will be classified as yet, but it will not be an easy map.

Currently there are 5 stages to this map.

Please help test this map and post back here if you have ANY suggestions, glitches, criticism, ect..

Known Bugs

- Minor ramp glitches
- The last stage has a teleporter that is not correctly aligned to the floor it's attached to. This requires you to gain more speed than what should be needed to get over the wall.
- Tele hops might be a problem on the first stage to get into the "end" room

For the people who complain about Cpt. Hopi's maps:

This maps from Cpt. Hopi seem not made for standard surf settings
like those you have for example on KSF Clan Servers:

-> Tickrate 64.0 | sv_accelerate 10 | sv_airaccelerate 150.

Im staff for surf in the Mythical Gaming Community.
And before we changed to the standard surf settings last week,
we had the following surf settings:

Tickrate 102.4 | sv_accelerate 5 | sv_airaccelerate 350

The following maps from Cpt. Hopi got added on our server right few months ago:

- surf_hopi_gradient
- surf_hopi_caged_v1
- surf_hopi_easy

I can promise you, all of those maps are good to surf with our old server settings:

Tickrate 102.4 | sv_accelerate 5 | sv_airaccelerate 350

I've surfed the world record of surf_hopi_caged with our old settings.
