UPDATED FOR LATEST PATCH

The enyclopaedia describes Manichaeism as a competitor to Christianity, which is interesting given that it's absolutely terrible ingame. This mod seeks to remedy that with five changes:

1) Removing food consumption for major and minor temple chains.

2) Slashing food consumption for the monastery chain. It is now 20/40/80.

3) Increasing conversion for main temple chain. It is now in-line with the Latin Christian main chain, so 3/6/9/12. Monastery and minor chain conversion remains unchanged.

4) Increasing immigration public order reduction bonus for main and minor temple chains. It is now 5/10/20/40% for minor and 20/40/80% for major.

5) The cultural wealth of the last monastery chain building has been increased to 900.

These changes should make Manichaeism a little bit more viable. The huge food requirements made the main chains incredibly undesirable, especially given that they were outclassed by any other PO building. The immigration PO reduction was kept because it adds a unique flavour to the religion, but buffed because in the original game you could at best get a 3-4 point reduction with the last main temple in a province with maximum immigration. It is for this reason I decided to remove the food requirements for the temple chains. The conversion change is to make the main chain more of an option in provinces with low immigration, and it works well with the 'Exaltation of the Elect' edict.

So with this the main temples become useful in frontier provinces, and the monasteries become more viable in your core provinces. Combined with the good edicts, and you should have a stronger and happier Manichaest empire.
