e3_c17_02 is a map that was featured at E3 2003 when Valve decided to show off Half-Life 2 to the world. The map featured Gordon Freeman roaming around a part of City 17 that consisted of a number of Rebels and Striders who were deeply seated in a battle together until the Rebels decide to flee.

The map is a restoration of the original map found in the Half-Life 2 Beta, it instead uses the retail Half-Life 2 textures and models to recreate the map and keep it closer to the version of City 17 that you see in the final product.

The scripts in the map will activate when the player follows the intended path that was made for the original presentation at E3 2003, please watch the video above if you want to follow the path and keep to the game's scripts.
