Fun and Balance for Shattered Europe

This is alpha Steam Workshop release of Fun and Balance mod. It's not really tested much, so if you have any issues, grab zip from Dropbox instead (and report any problems in comments).

WARNING: This mod was last updated for EU4 1.11.4 because Shattered Europe never got 1.12+ versions. It won't work with current version of EU4.

Rabob: Are you sure you have the right version? What you need are mods listed as "Miscmods - Shattered Europe Scenario" and "Fun and Balance for Shattered Europe" in the launcher.

There's a bunch of mods with similar names to Shattered Europe mod, you might have one of them off by accident instead :-)

All the scenarios still start in 1444, even without custom nations. I have only this mod and Shattered Europe enabled.

Rabob: Shattered Europe campaign is supposed to start in 1399 (like original EU3 start), so if you accidentally started it in 1444 somehow (or there's some bug), then yes, tech 6 and 4 ideas sound about right.

I've never tested this version with custom nations, does it default to 1444 start?

Ehm, is it normal that all western countries start with tech 6 and also 4 ideas for AI?
I was playing a custom nation myself and didnt get the free ideas.

Rabob: You need to run both. EU4 should prioritize them correctly.

Do I have to run both Shattered Europe and this one? Or is Shattered Europe already included?
