描述
The chain's first store opened on May 17, 1964, in Hamilton, Ontario, under the name "Tim Horton Donuts"; the name was later abbreviated to "Tim Horton's" and then changed to "Tim Hortons" without the possessive apostrophe. The business was founded by Miles G."Tim" Horton, who played in the National Hockey League from 1949 until his death in a traffic collision in 1974.

Soon after Horton opened the store, he met Ron Joyce, a former Hamilton police constable. In 1965, Joyce took over the fledgling Tim Horton Donut Shop on Ottawa Street North in Hamilton.

And so a legend was born. I thought it would be fitting that store #1 in Hamilton be chosen as the next in the classic collection. I think it adds a little bit of 60s charm to any city. The original building has been replaced by a new, 2 story glass building which I may model if the demand is there.

Search for Hockey, find Timmy's. If it hadn't been for the description, I'd be thinking Steam's search system has a sense of humor.

Now all my people can have thier double doubles in the morning. :stein: I live in Stoney Creek about 5 minute drive to the Tims in the picture on Ottawa Street....xcfmedic described the new one that is there now. And just like my area in RL....there will be a Timmies every 2 blocks ingame lol. nice mods in you collection btw. All the more better to recreate niagara region ingame.

Sadly the original heritage building has been demolished, and a new two level modern building built. The lower level is the store, the upper is a museum.
