Peel Marshes

September 29th, 1944: After the failure of Operation Market Garden, Allied forces realize they had to deal with closing their flanks between the forces of the last operation and the U.S. XIX Corps. Elements of Kampfgroup Walther, a mix of 180th Replacement Training Division, Division Erdmann, and 107th Panzer Brigade, were still a thorn in their side. For this task, the U.S. released the 7th Armor and 29th Infantry divisions along with the 1st Belgian Brigade and the U.S. 113th Cavalry Group. Their mission was to clear out this resistance in a natural defensive area known as De Peel or the Peel Marshes, 60 square miles of swamps and canals networked only by road ways. This is a 3v3 map with 5 victory points filled with large shallow waterways and farms. Enjoy!
