Get Your Free TVs! was the very first test level created for Half-Life 2 back in 1999. It was designed to test the features of the Source Engine and show off the capabilities of the Source Engine such as A.I and Physics. The creation of the test map was the real start of the development for Half-Life 2.

This version of Get Your Free TVs! is a REMAKE of the original "city_test_03" map found in the Half-Life 2 WC Map Pack where the creator, Chilly_Chilloutftg had designed the map to be a recreation of what happened in the original test map.

The player will experience a large group of Metrocops and Citizens fighting one another in the middle of a fierce riot with many Citizens causing grief and chaos against the police. Rebel NPCs will appear to throw explosives at the cops while Citizens run around causing havoc.

- The map is internally referred to as "free_tv_ghetto" for those who want to operate by console and it can be found in the "Others" section of the map select screen.
