Self Propelled Artillery

描述
This unit is a tracked self-propelled artillery cannon. It is a lightly armored fighting vehicle armed with a cannon and it is designed specifically to bombard enemy units and cities. Similar in most respects to the towed artillery unit but more mobile. Popular until rocket artillery came along. You can find this unit listed under "SP Artillery". This unit upgrades to rocket artillery and requires one oil and one iron to build. This unit also does not require setup prior to firing. My thanks to Danrell for his wonderful model which made this unit mod possible. Also a special thanks to the wonderful people at the CivFanatics website who gave me the knowledge I needed to be able do this. Please feel free to use this mod as a template for your own unit mods but be sure to credit Danrell if you use his models. This mod requires BNW..

great mod! the only thing I would change is the movement rate. self propelled arty are supposed to keep up with the armor units, thats why they put them on a tank chassis. a movement reat of 4-5 points would really make this mod super useful, otherwise it's just a more expensive artillery unit.

Wespe or Wasp is an artillery version of the obsolete panzer 2 another vehicle like this is the SdKfz 138/1 Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Grille, a personal favorite.

Yes, this is a model of the Sd. Kfz. 124 Wespe that Danrell made and I used for this mod. See this link:

The Grille existed long before WoT was even an idea. They don't have a copyright on it's appearance.
