Richard The New l4d2 maps only has ammo packs while the first left 4 dead maps use ammo cans play on l4d campaigns and you'll be able to see this

Hmm, would like to say decent, but the obvious reflection errors on the inside of the can... just ruins it. At least, I have yet to see solid objects like cans, reflect a table, on its inside :P.

I couldn't find the Ammo Can, because I always get the Ammo Pack, a pile of bullets and shells. :D
