do these snap to roads?

Kickstarts buildings in a new district; no need for pylon lines, solar updraft towers, wind turbines or anything.. Easy to angle it correctly using small right-clicks. I place across the ends of roads, solely so that, on narrow roads, it won't interfere with where a building will grow. Thanks!

They don't contribute to noise, and lets you make block sections of a city without needing a bunch of towers to connect sections that are too far away.

These solar assets are great for a futuristic city, which I guess they all are as the years roll by in the game.

Oh, well that's neat

I used something that was plopable for the base choice in the asset editor. Even though it says its based on windspeed it is NOT. It will always produce 1-0.99MW if it says 0 = 0.99MW.

Why is the electricity generation based off of windspeed? It seems a bit unrealistic, the argument is made that higher wind speeds would create less cloud cover.

Thanks for the update cpm, I am glad you took aubergine18's comment into mind and kept it low. Looking great in my city!

$5 weekly cleaning costs have been added

With solar the majority of cost is up-front, once the panels are up and running, they are very low maintenance. Maybe someone cleans them once a month, and deal with the occasional electrical fault, but other than that they just sit there and generate electricity for you with practically no ongoing work required.
