Alternative History: In the summer of 1943 Great Britain and the Soviet Union both surrendered to the almighty German war machine. The next objective for the Third Reich was to launch at the final bastion of the free world, the USA. As the invasion force set sail in the fall of 1948, US Marine forces were deployed to destroy strategic units in the German fleet, chiefly the Kriegsmarine’s flagship, the aircraft carrier ‘Karl Donitz’.

Set aboard the German Aircraft Carrier ‘Karl Donitz’ a mighty flagship vessel over 600 meters long, armed with sixteen 2cm Flak 38 AA guns and twelve 7.5 cm Kwk 42 guns for defence as well as a full complement of marines, a hanger full of Stuka ground attack aircraft and two command towers to request additional support from the fleet. This should provide a challenge to U.S. marine assailants…

This is certainly the smallest map and possibly the most complex I’ve ever created, creating boats in CoH isn’t easy. Hopefully this map provides a quick and fun brawling type battle which will probably be decided long before end game units can be deployed. There are only two players and only a few hundred meters of open deck between them, the player who can set up a strong defence first will probably be the victor. Also the map uses winterised vehicle skins but summer infantry skins, I though this looked best for forces at sea.
