The Curonian Spit

This map is based on real map data.

The narrow Curonian Spit is located between two bodies of water. It stretches up to northern tip next to a narrow strait, across which is the port city of Klaipėda on the mainland of Lithuania.

Map contains all connections, loosely based on real-world roads, railways and sea routes. There is an abundance of forests, some large patches of ore, and some concentrated oil resources.

My impressions after playing it:

- Dams are not possible - the land is too plain.
- However, for the same reason, map is easy.
- Starting area feels great - every expansion direction feels worthy.
- Very little wind in starting area. Either hard or non-green start.
- Existing highway intersection holds up until 10000 population, but needs to be improved later.
