Solarfury Mk1.5 (Starfury inspired)

REQUIRED MODS:
Armor thrusters (slanted) from Darth Biomech
Wing parts from Harag
S Thruster 3 from Sektan

This ship is based on the Babylon 5 Starfury. It is a heavy armored small ship fighter. Cockpit is exposed (for sake of aesthetics), but you could always roll the ship in a way the heavily armored bottom front takes the hits instead of the cockpit.

4 Gatling guns
2 Reloadable rocket launchers

The entire ships inventory (reactors and gatling guns) is hooked up via conveyors to the docking ring on the rear of the ship except for the reloadable rocket launchers. Those may have to be reloaded by manually. There 4 small cargo containers for extra ammo aboard.

Rear main thrusters are grouped.
Rear maneuvering thrusters are grouped.

This ship is very fast to accelerate and has the ability to change direction pretty quickly. Please keep that in mind when piloting her. Her turning speed is moderate. I if you find it too slow for your tastes, you can probably find a protected area inside the ship (will have to remove an armor block someplace maybe) to add another gyro or two.

Opertating proceedure is as follows:

Docking:
1. Make sure you turn OFF your main rear thrusters as they provide so much thrust you are likely to ram into something.
2. Turn on the rear maneuvering thrusters (you should keep these off while the main thrusters are on to avoid reactor overloads). All other maneuvering thrusters stay on at all times.
3. Loosely line your ship up to a docking ring, then switch to the rear camera which should line up perfectly to the top light on large ship or station connectors. Keep it in your crosshairs are you proceed to dock.

Launching from dock:
1. Use rear maneuvering thrusters for slow movements out of the cargo bay, away from the ship, etc. Keep the main rear thusters OFF during this part or you will likely slam into something.
2. Turn off rear maneuvering thrusters and turn on the main rear thrusters.
