描述
2023, 8 year update: Ive updated the roads, trees, etc with modern mods to make everything look better. I've also moved a lot of the resources around in hopes of a more interesting reason to expand outward, i.e. each of the 3 resources is mainly in a different area of the map.

81 tile unlocker mod is strongly suggested as some resources are outside the base games default 25 tiles. Other than that, the map should be entirely vanilla compatible.


Based off a height map of the San Francisco bay area.

The primary goal of this map was to include variety and interesting terrain in each city tile. As such the map is not a true 1:1 but closer to 2:1, thus roads are larger than they would be in real life.

Road and rail are rough approximations but complete artistic license was taken with resource placement and some water features.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll add an on-ramp once I have some free time. I assumed everyone liked making their own.

As for too many roads, they are a rough approximation of the major highways of the area so they will likely stay.

It's a nice map, but I think there's too many roads starting on it. Also no onramps to the highway from the start is sucky for people like me who are awful at making their own.
