Pirate Harasser (No Mods)

This little ship may not seem like much, but with the right tactics, it can be an annoying little critter to deal with. One or two of these ships may not be much of a challange, but a whole group of them - will be painful.

Pirates typically use these ships as "hit and run" ships, quickly ambushing an unsuspecting convoy from a hidden position inside an asteroid. Depending on the situation, they will either strike fast and quickly, taking out the escorts, or directly assaulting the convoy's critical systems... such as engines, then they will retreat before the enemy can retaliate. Larger pirate ships will them move in and plunder the disabled convoy ships, and mop on any further resistance.

The ship has a single rocket pod with limited ammo, and no other weapons - making it useless in long, drawn-out engagements. It's armor is also practically, non-existant. The best use of these ships is to get in, unload the rockets, and get out, as quickly as possible.
