WMI Widow Mk 2

The Widow was designed around one principle: getting the pilot home safely. It was built around the heavily armoured cockpit that lies in the center of the craft, affording the operator unparallelled protection from enemy fire. To make up for its lack of an open cockpit, the Widow sports a number of remote cameras to allow clear view of the battlefield. Boasting an impressive crew survival rate, the Widow can take a heck of a beating. Various pilots reported that their crafts had sustained six or more direct rocket hits and still lived to tell about their encounters. Repairing this kind of damage is a pain to do by hand so our engineers developed a projector-based Repair Protocol to help maintenance crews patch up these vessels after heavy engagements. Now just because the Widow is durable does not mean that she is lacking in other aspects. With a modest acceleration of 9.43 m/s/s, combined with 4 gatling guns, and 2 rocket launchers, the Widow can dish out as much damage as she can take.

• Reinforced Internal Cockpit: Surrounded by a box of non-deformable blast door blocks and covered in layers of light/heavy armour on top of that
