Automated Elevator

描述
Elevator that runs by itself using base game rotors and clogs, works with structural integrity

IMPORTANT! will not work if you do not follow these steps to set it up...

1. Attach ropes between cog's and rotor's rope endings

2. Make an elevator room/trolley/thing starting from the lowest point you wish to use (otherwise it wont go down further) or use this one that works nicely with it... http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=397715292
NOTE: build it attached to the base structure/platform, if you unclip it will just stay stuck and not work

3. Attach strings from the elevator to the rope drums

4. detach from ground/base/structure

5. turn the rotor on

6. Sit back and enjoy slow elevation to destination

7. Turn up rotor off, turn down rotor on (making sure rope endings are attached)

8. Sit back and enjoy de-elevation to destination

9. Rate 5 stars, (or complain about how ♥♥♥♥ it is because you didn't follow the motherloving instructions titled "important")

Warning: Usual speech about how game is early alpha and glitches may occur such as the elevator going absolutely bonkers and destroying everything around it (No joke, ropes are as glitchy as glitchy can be so this minor issue may occur) TEST BEFORE USE, or that castle of yours may become rubble.

Unimportant banter about how awesome I am...

I spent hours getting the damn clogs to work correctly, and the rope glitches to say the least didn't help. Made countless prototypes only to give you the best of (possibly) the best. The good news is you can make it as high as you want, the bad news is turning the rotors off can be a bit fiddgety.

P.S. This game is awesome potentially more awesome than SE, and a working elevator a few days into alpha release is proof enough to me

haha, "leo" is exactly how I'm feeling too! Happy building, catch you on the flipside

Cheers bro, I made a much simpler one too but this one just felt more "realistic" and gears are indeed great to play with, I'm actually really not bothered by building castles I just want to feel like Leonardo Da Vinci

Nice work, I have a 2 way automated elevator as well, with less parts. I just love playing with gears in this game
