Weighted Crane

This is a crane I whipped up because, I was bored. You can remove the weights if you feel like it, I am of the opinion that they make the turning more stable. Updated, a slight improvement.

Blueprints dont maintain ropes, to line up the gears on the crain winch mechanism, just add two weights to the bottoms of the cross gears at both ends of the boom, after that attatch al the corresponding ropes on the gears and delete the weights.
