I try to build an african battlefield inspired by Call of Duty 2 and Battlefield 1942 and I did some investigation about the fights between the Allies and the Afrikakorps. I focused particularly on the dunes and tried to find a way to make them look good. Also it was hard to design a realistic desert. You know, a desert is empty but a empty map would be boring, so I work with trenches and bunkers. However, play the map and tell me, if you like it. If you don't like it - please tell me why!

Ich habe versucht ein Schlachtfeld zu designen, dass an Nordafrika erinnert. Als Inspiration halfen mir Call of Duty 2 und Battlefield 1942, sowie einige Recherche über den dortigen Kampf zwischen den Alliierten und dem Afrikakrops. Ich habe mich besonders auf die Dünen konzentriert, da ich es wichtig fand, diese besonders realistisch dar zu stellen. Das Designen einer Wüste war jedoch schwieriger als gedacht, den logischerweise sind Wüsten recht leer, was eine Map in einem Spiel jedoch nicht sein darf. Ich habe das Problem meist mit Schützengräben und Bunkern lösen können,. Wie dem auch sei: Spiele die Map und verrate mir bitte ob sie dir gefällt. Sollte sie dir nicht gefallen, dann bin ich umso mehr auf deine Meinung gespannt.
