Holodeck - Model

描述
This is a modeled holodeck from the Star Trek universe. I had my own approach for this, so it won't be 100% accurate to any existing model.

I recommend using the field background if you import it into your game. It's lighting works well with it.

Sorry if this is a very noob question, but how do I remove the holodeck walls? (to review the backgrown - being where the holodeck has loaded(!)) I cant select it

Where would i find this background in my game files so i can upload it as a custom background?

Confirmed. Making those 2 changes makes it so I can load the custom objects into an existing game, and it works flawlessly.

It appears that the objects the background pieces are anchored to have non-zero-volume collision models, so if you spawn them into an existing game, they tend to mess with the table, or the background just spins around instead of sitting there like it should.

I recommend changing the collision of all the "hidden" objects to this. We found it to be a good solution in the 3D Anime Cafe background mod.

Consider also the antigravity property, which I *think* should allow people to spawn the objects into an existing game without having them fall and ruin the background:

Looking at my most recent backed-up files, I've noticed that they are not up to date, it would take far too much work to make that adjustment. I had a hardrive failure a while back and lost most of my most recent data. I won't make this a priority, but if I find I have some time and willpower, I'll see what I can do.

Could you do another render with the camera at the floor (so the walls end at the horizon line) and upload it as a SteamVR wallpaper as an alternative to http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=651353163 ?
